"Yes, basketball is just a game to some, but in my experience, it's a lot more. It's interaction, accountability, hard work, dedication, perseverance and self-discipline, as well as enriching, rewarding, challenging and revealing. Personally, basketball gave me my choice of 73 Division 1 schools, financial gain after college and an opportunity to see the world.

Being accountable, working well with others, being coachable and on time, and seeing that hard work can be rewarding. All of these intangibles translate to our adult life and more importantly the work force. I ask all who look at basketball as "JUST A GAME" to look a little deeper. The art of basketball can be a river that runs very deep."
